Using the Points of Interest Table
The Points of Interest Table allows you to pick features of interest on a seismic section and register them in a table. As an example, this functionality can be used to pick geo-hazards, such as boulders.

- In the Control Panel, click the Table tab.
- Click the blue + icon, and select New Points of Interest Table.
Note: To change the table name, right-click the newly created table and select Configure. Type a name, and click OK.

- Click the Start picking pencil icon.

- Start picking the points of interest in an active View. Once done, press Esc or click the pencil icon again to stop picking.

The number of rows indicates the number of points of interest.
- Click Open Table Editor.

The Points of Interest table displays information associated with the points of interest picked in Step 4.
You can add relevant notes for each point by selecting a point and typing it into the Note field. Click Save Changes to save the notes, or Discard Changes to clear them.
