Exporting Multiple Horizons
In addition to exporting one horizon at a time, you can export multiple horizons at the same time.
Select multiple horizons to be exported
- In the Control Panel, open the Horizon tab.
- In the Horizon tree, select the horizons that you want to export.
- Right-click the selected horizons and click Export "X" horizons, and select one of the following options:
- Export to directory
- Export customised text file
- Export to GEOH5
Note: Horizons are always exported in TVDSS (depth) as the base geometry. If the horizon was picked in TWT, TWT values are also included as an additional property in the exported file.
Select a directory to export the horizons
Insight will automatically open the project folder. Select the directory where you want to export the horizons and click Save.
Continue export and overwrite files or cancel export
Insight will display a warning if it detects any existing horizon files in the selected directory. Click Yes to continue exporting and overwrite the horizons. Otherwise, click No to cancel the export.
Export to customised text format
When exporting multiple horizons to a customised text format, Insight opens the Export Horizon configuration window where you can select and reorder the fields to include in the output.
- Select the fields to export.
- To change the order of the fields, click and drag the dotted area to the left of the field name.
- Click OK.
- Select the directory where you want to save the files, and click Save. Each horizon is exported as a separate .dat file named after the horizon.
