Loading a Trend File

A trend file contains all the numerical values that define the end-member depth-dependent lithology trends. The trend information captured in this file includes Vp vs. depth, Vp vs. Vs, Vp vs. Density, and Vp vs. Porosity (only for reservoir). This trend file may also be edited to incorporate relevant fluid information such as Vp and density for modelling purposes in the QI Stochastic Model window. 

  1. In the Trends tab, select a trend file. For more information, on how to load a trend file, refer to Adding trends to Insight.
  2. Select the desired trends.
  3. Click Add.
