Gain refers to the change in the amplitude of a signal from an input volume to the amplified output.

Once you've defined the general information for a well (see Creating a New Well), you can add the checkshots. See Well Import File Formats for more details on the format of a checkshot survey file.

By default, Insight exports the fault sticks to the GeoQuest IESX format (.dat file extension).

You can import fault in the VoxelGeo XYZ, GeoQuest IESX or in the DUG fault (.dufault) format. In the GeoQuest IESX format, you can load multiple faults from a single file.

Once you’ve created groups to group your volumes, you can enable or disable the groups. Similarly, you can do the same on specific members in the groups.

In addition to exporting a horizon at a time, you can export multiple horizons, all at the same time.

Horizons can be exported in two file formats; the default Insight format or the customised format.
