When you launch Insight, it will automatically check for the availability of a software update. This is a default setting. However, you can disable this automatic checking.

You must use the Licence Manager to activate your licence, view your active licences and configure your network settings.

Insight uses its own optimised data format to represent volume information to allow for fast processing and display of your seismic data. Consequently your seismic data must be converted before use and this is done through the SEG-Y Loader.
