You can measure the space of an area and volume as constrained by a polygon in the map. These features require a polygon to be created in the map (see Creating a Polygon Map View) or you can use a temporary polygon. In addition, you can also measure the distance between two points in the map.

Insight allows you to display 2D data based on the shotpoint whenever possible. You can use this option to display your 2D data if your survey contains the shotpoint reference.
