Using the Predict Window
The Tool>Predict window is divided into several panels.
Available in: Lithofluids module
1 - Current well selector
Select the well to display. Switch between the different wells to update the displayed log curves and results.
2 - Control Panel
Show the different configuration panels using the tabs on the left. You can hide the Control Panel by clicking the left arrow icon or the tab that is currently opened to allow more screen space for the displayed tracks. To show the Control Panel again, click any tab or the right arrow icon. See the following sections for more information:
- Configuring Volumes
- Configuring Wells
- Applying Filters and Including Result Curves
- Arbitrary Locations
- Configuring Lithofluid Probability Tracks
- Defining View Settings
3 - Well Navigation Panel
Adjust the displayed region of the well by moving the green region or scrolling the mouse-wheel. You can drag the top and bottom edges of the green region to zoom in/out of the well section. You can also zoom in/out by right-clicking and dragging, or scrolling the mouse-wheel in any track in the Well Log Panel, Extra Navigation and Petrophysical Interpretation Panel, or Synthetics-Seismic Panel. At the bottom of the Well Navigation Panel, select the curve to be displayed in this panel.
The Well Navigation Panel can display any of the available curves in the well using the curve selector. You can also set the navigation range in the Well Navigation Panel. Right-click the Well Navigation Panel and click Set Range. In the Set Range window, type the values for the shallow and deep limits for navigation and click OK.
4 - Time-Depth Axis Panel
This panel displays the time-depth relationship based on the selected T-D pairs for the well.
5 - Extra Navigation and Petrophysical Interpretation Panel
This panel includes the display of the selected "Extra" log curve (default Gamma Ray) and the Petrophysics interpretation (if available). The "Extra" log curve is set in the Selected Well tab (see Configuring Wells).
6 - Lid Probability Tracks
This panel displays the lithofluid probabilty in a track. See Configuring Lithofluid Probability Tracks to configure the settings for this track.
7 - Well Log Panel
This panel includes tracks to display the selected well log curves. You can define the tracks and curves to be displayed, described in Defining View Settings.
8 - Synthetics–Seismic Panel
This panel displays the well synthetics and seismic volumes (by default, in blue and dark grey, respectively).
